Our Approach
Canopy offers a variety of different topics while taking a culturally responsive approach to each training we create. We are dedicated to inclusivity and openly embrace the unique needs of each person. Our approach is to encourage and support openness and curiosity by using our collective knowledge and cultural resources to engage learners in deeper discussions around anti-racist and anti-oppressive frameworks.
Please keep in mind that training material covers sensitive topics, such as, trauma, abuse, grief & loss, as well as discussions around race and racism. We ask our participants to engage in self-reflective learning that may be triggering or uncomfortable for some. Please be mindful of your own needs (or boundaries) and wellbeing.
