Keara Nadeau-Grandy, Director of Clinical Operations

Keara Nadeau-Grandy is the Director of Clinical Operations at Canopy Mental Health and Consulting & Canopy Roots. She comes to Canopy with more than 20 years of experience in providing mental health services with an emphasis on crisis services. Keara has provided services in a variety of capacities including various levels of crisis services, inpatient, residential, case management, and utilization review.

Born and raised in California’s Central Valley region, Keara has called the Midwest home since 1997. She has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Dominguez Hills, and a Certification in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell. She has a commitment to lifelong learning and enjoys learning about new and innovative approaches to providing mental health services.

Keara’s professional focus is on providing culturally responsive care to assist in building a more inclusive and accessible mental health system for the BIPOC community. She has a passion for crisis services which was her primary focus for 15 years.

When not working, Keara enjoys completing half-marathons with the goal of crossing the finish line in all 50 states. When she is not training, she can be found paddle boarding or snowshoeing. Keara is the proud mother of 3 young men and 3 furbabies who ensure her life is always full of adventure.
