Meet the Team

Cheng Yang, HR Generalist

Cheng (she/her) is the HR Generalist at Canopy Mental Health & Consulting. She is a proud 2nd Generation Hmong American Woman born and raised in Minneapolis, MN and enjoys the 4 seasons that MN has to offer.

She comes to Canopy with a combined 8 years of Human Resources Experience in the Medical Field Industry and Manufacturing Industry. One of her most memorable career moments were when she worked as a Business Office Manager at a Senior Living Facility. There she met and got to know all the clients living there and enjoyed listening to them tell their life stories to her.

She is very passionate about putting people first and helping all those who come to her. She is very excited about her new journey with Canopy and as she learns and grows into her role; she wants to empower and share what Canopy has to offer.

In her free time she enjoys taking her kids to the mall and parks and creating memorable memories with her loved ones.
