Meet the Team
Nina Murray, MSW, LICSW
Nina (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Her approach to therapy embodies a non-directive approach that regards each child, adolescent, and adult as the expert in their own experience. Nina aims to help each client get in touch with their body and emotions so together, they can figure out what might be making things feel hard right now.
She is passionate about helping her clients connect their lived experiences to the larger influences that may be hampering opportunities for growth. Centering values of fun, collaboration, and exploration, Nina hopes to foster a therapy space for her clients that is both challenging and rewarding. Her own identity as a queer Latinx woman has informed how she approaches therapy through a model of liberatory practices
Nina especially enjoys working with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as queer and trans youth exploring their gender and/or sexuality.
Nina enjoys going on walks, crafting, reading, and taking naps with her cat, Pepper.
Nina’s certifications and trainings: Narrative Exposure Therapy
