Raha Mohamoud, MSW, LGSW
Raha Mohamoud (she/her) is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from University of Minnesota.
She brings experience in trauma-informed care and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), along with a strong passion for cultural competence in mental health services. Growing up as the child of first-generation Somali immigrant parents, Raha has a deep appreciation for how culture, identity, and personal experiences shape mental health, and she strives to honor each client’s unique background in my work. She takes a client-centered approach, combining CBT and strengths-based perspectives to create individualized treatment plans that support growth and healing. Raha’s goal is to foster a calm, safe, and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate challenges and build resilience.
In her free time Raha enjoys long walks, practicing hot yoga, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.
