Meet the Team

Roxanne Watkins, MSW, LGSW

Roxanne Watkins (she/her) is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) who creates a safe, affirming, and collaborative space for healing and growth. She earned her Master of Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has experience in both school-based and community-based mental health settings.

Roxanne takes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach that blends DBT and mindfulness-based techniques to support healing, emotional balance, and overall well-being. When working with children, she incorporates play therapy to help them express themselves in developmentally appropriate ways. Roxanne brings warmth and gentle humor to her sessions, helping clients feel comfortable and understood.

As a Black woman, a first-generation daughter of immigrant parents, and service member, Roxanne brings a deep understanding of identity, belonging, and lived experiences to her work. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families, especially within underserved and culturally diverse communities.

Outside of her clinical work, Roxanne enjoys fitness, time with loved ones, and exploring new ways to nurture wellness and balance in everyday life.
