Meet the Team

Lucina Kayee, MSW, LGSW

Lucina Kayee (she/they) is a pre-licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from St. Catherine University. Lucina is a Liberian Muslim refugee whose lived experience informs her belief that healing is not about fixing brokenness, but remembering wholeness. She brings a trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and relational approach to therapy, offering a space where clients can slow down, feel seen, and reconnect with their inner wisdom.

Lucina has supported foster youth, formerly incarcerated individuals, and students in school-based special education settings, including youth navigating learning differences, emotional regulation, and complex life transitions. She integrates mindfulness, storytelling, and body awareness to support clients through grief, identity exploration, trauma, and moments of change. Lucina welcomes clients seeking authenticity, grounding, and a compassionate place to grow at their own pace.

In her free time, Lucina enjoys training and showing her dogs in American Kennel Club’s Agility trials, canoeing on the Mississippi River, taking photos, and engaging in creative community spaces that inspire connection and joy.
